Beside Taylor Devices Inc.’s (TD) dampers have been used in Space and Defense industry, their seismic viscous dampers have been used to mitigate the seismic hazards to be occured due potential earthquakes. Including Bosphorus Bridge retrofit Project, TD’s viscous dampers were used in order to provide additional damping for seismic isolation systems especially located in near field and for vibration control in our projects in Turkey. They are totally maintenance free. EMKE has been supplying and installing Taylor Devices Inc. viscous dampers in Turkey.
